WHEN IT COMES TO ACCESSIBLE BATHING EUROCARE OFFER THE COMPLETE PACKAGE

Accessible bathing just got easier thanks to leading manufacturer Eurocare Showers. The Doncaster based company will provide retailers with the opportunity to become involved in the fast growing elderly market, without the hassle.

With imminent government changes to social care and cuts to local authority budgets, an increasing number of people will be turning to the high street for a complete accessible solution, providing more scope for accessible bathing to be integrated into mainstream retail.

The provision of accessible bathing products has been historically daunting for retailers, who often perceive it as a specialist area. In reality only a small percentage of the domestic retail market requires a specialist bathing solution, the majority come from the over 65’s – a group that is growing year on year as the average lifespan in the UK continues to increase.

Current trends indicate that when it comes to accessible bathing, consumers look for a supplier who can provide a complete service from design to installation.Installation can be notoriously difficult, and an area many retailers wish to avoid.

Working with a reputable expert who can ensure products are suitable, and correctly installed provides retailers with an opportunity that is too good to miss. With over 35 years experience in the design and manufacture of assistive equipment, Eurocare is that expert.

In early 2012 Eurocare will launch a brand new initiative that will allow retailers the opportunity to offer a complete turnkey solution. Those entering into the scheme will be provided with a full menu of ‘installed prices’. Although prices are subject to survey – which is a must when installing accessible equipment, retailers will be able to provide customers with a realistic idea of cost.

As well as excellent service, retailers can also be confident that all Eurocare approved contractors are CRB checked and all work and products are fully guaranteed.

For those retailers who have installation capacity but are new to accessible bathing, Eurocare also offer a range of training options, from sales and technical training, to full product installation courses.

Eurocare offers the widest selection of accessible door, screen and enclosure options in the UK, which are manufactured to each customer’s requirements. The company also boasts a stunning collection of walk-in baths, which set new standards in excellence and ease of use.

All Eurocare products are manufactured in the UK to the highest standards.

ACCESSIBLE BATHING MADE EASY

Doncaster based Eurocare Showers has a golden opportunity for retailers to become involved in the elderly and less able market without the hassle. Accessible bathing has become a more familiar feature of mainstream UK bathrooms over the last few years with more people than ever turning to the high street for an accessible solution that meets their needs. With so much demand why are so many retailers still shying away from accessible bathing? The answer lies in the perceived hassle and complication of sourcing and installing the right products – which is where Eurocare comes in.

Eurocare has a brilliant new initiative which will help more retailers to become involved in this fast growing and lucrative sector. Historically the provision of accessible bathing products has been daunting for retailers who see it as a specialist area. In reality only a very small percentage of the domestic retail market requires a specialist bathing solution. The majority of demand comes from the over 65’s – a group that is growing year on year as average life expectancy in the UK continues to increase.

A low level shower or a walk in bath will provide a suitable, cost effective solution that will cater for the majority of people’s needs within this sector. Design has also moved forward significantly in recent years with a wide variety of products that are practical as well as aesthetically pleasing. So what remains as the issue for retailers?

Current research indicates that when it comes to accessible bathing, consumers look for a supplier who can deliver a complete service from design to installation. This is the difficulty for many retailers who may not have installation capacity. Installation can also be difficult – another area that retailers would rather avoid. This apprehension is not groundless, says Eurocare. Installing a low threshold bath or shower is not the same as installing a standard domestic shower or bath. There are a number of factors that must be taken into consideration if products are to be installed properly and perform correctly. A good survey is an essential part of the installation process and can eliminate unforeseen problems and additional costs.

Working with a reputable expert who can ensure products are suitable for purpose and correctly installed first time provides retailers with an opportunity that is too good to miss. With over 35 years of experience in the design and manufacture of assistive equipment and a proven track record in facilitating installation, Eurocare is that expert.

In early 2012, Eurocare will launch a brand new initiative that will allow retailers the opportunity to offer a complete turnkey solution. Eurocare will provide a complete service to their retail customers from manufacture to installation.

How will the process work? Retailers will handle their own sale and remain in control at all times while Eurocare takes care of the product and the installation. Acting on behalf of the retailer at all times, Eurocare can even offer full product branding.

Those joining the scheme will be provided with a full menu of installed product prices. The two tier pricing structure will allow retailers to provide customers with a realistic idea of cost. Although prices are subject to a pre installation survey, retailers can be assured that they are receiving the best possible price direct from the manufacturer.

What about retailers who have installation capacity but no knowledge of accessible bathing? No problem – Eurocare offers a range of training options from sales and technical to full product installation. The company operates a non compete policy with all customers and only sells to the trade.

Eurocare offers the widest selection of accessible door, screen and enclosure options in the UK. All products are manufactured to customer requirements. The company also offers a stunning selection of walk in baths which set new standards in quality and ease of use. All products are manufactured in the UK.

A MOVE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION FOR EUROCARE

After nearly a decade at their existing facility, accessible bathing manufacturer Eurocare Showers is on the move.

Eurocare moves to new premisesThe company’s expansion over the past year has meant a move has become inevitable for the Doncaster-based firm.

Explains Eurocare Managing Director, Mike Holborn: “A move to larger premises has been on the cards for some time, but it was crucial the timing was right.

“We took occupancy of the new site at the end of September, and have gradually moved the manufacturing process in strategic stages. It was important that the move caused as little disruption as possible to our customers.”

Also located in Doncaster on an industrial park, Eurocare’s new manufacturing facility will provide twice the company’s current floor space, some 20,000sq ft.

Continues Mike: “The new premises mean we will have an even greater manufacturing capability. With the current climate so competitive, and many key players outsourcing manufacture oversees, we are seeing an increased demand for our products, particularly for own brand development and manufacture.”

“In order to meet current demand and continue to grow the business, it is important we have the correct facilities to allow us to cater for our customers’ requirements. The new site will have a dedicated R&D area for customer development and additional space for our in-house product and installation training.”

Concludes Mike: “This is an exciting time for Eurocare. The move is the first of many new developments planned for what we hope will be a significant year for our business.”

Eurocare will open doors for business in their new premises in January 2012 after the Christmas break.

Eurocare’s new address will be:-

Unit 11
Shaw Lane Industrial Estate
Ogden Road
Doncaster
DN2 4SQ

NEW DOOR UPGRADE HELPS EUROCARE RISE ABOVE THE COMPETITION

NEW DOOR UPGRADE HELPS EUROCARE RISE ABOVE THE COMPETITION

A new technical upgrade from accessible showering manufacturer, Eurocare Showers, will now provide customers with an even more superior product.

The redevelopment of Eurocare’s rise and fall hinge has resulted in a product that delivers not only on performance, but also on aesthetics.

shower screen

The hinge was redeveloped following ongoing consultation with Eurocare customers, and designed specifically with appearance in mind. Concealed within a smooth, modern exterior, the hinge has no hazardous catches or operating devices, and remains flush when in the closed position.

According to Eurocare development & technical support manager, Jim Coupe, one of the key selling points of the new hinge is that it allows the doors to remain open, without swinging back into the tray or showering area:

“The new hinge operates on a 180 degree swing and allows the doors to remain open in 90 degrees in each direction,” he says. “Inward swinging doors are a commonly reported problem in our market, which is less than ideal when you are trying to achieve a user friendly, accessible environment for elderly or disabled users.”

The other side to the hinge is its appeal to installers as well as users: “The hinge has been designed to be screwed directly into the tray, providing a more secure fit,” says Jim. “This also allows the doors to be installed quicker and more easily.”

Ensuring a good seal between a tray and door is notoriously important. The new door upgrade also includes an advanced seal, positioned on the base of the doors which, when in contact with the tray, self modifies to direct water away much more effectively thus creating an improved seal.

The hinge also features a new double vertical seal for additional waterproofing and small drainage holes at the base, which ensure any excess water flows back into the tray or showering area.

Every Eurocare door is made to measure to customers’ exact specifications and can cater for virtually any application. All doors are manufactured to the same high standards that set Eurocare apart.

NEW COMPENSATOR FROM EUROCARE SHOWERS PROVIDES THE ULTIMATE FLEXIBILITY FOR SPECIFIERS AND INSTALLERS

One of the UK’s leading providers of accessible showering solutions, Eurocare Showers, have launched a brand new addition to their door range, which will provide even greater freedom and flexibility for specifiers and installers alike.

Currently each Eurocare order is manufactured to individual customer specifications, however, occasionally it is not always possible to know the exact size required until installation has begun.

Explains Joanna Talbot, sales and marketing manager for Eurocare Showers: “As part of our ongoing research, we wanted to offer customers even greater choice and flexibility by creating a standard range of doors that offer the same versatility as our bespoke range.

“Following research discussions, our development team has created a compensator offering a 105mm compensation.

“Currently, each compensator offers a compensation of plus or minus 15mm, which is a rough guide to the industry standard. This subsequently allows little room for measuring errors. Others have tackled this by simply extending the compensators, but we were looking for a solution that was both functional as well as aesthetically pleasing.

“The result is a brand new compensator which has a series of carefully calculated extension stages, into which the doors fit for effortless installation.”

Concludes Joanna: “This new innovation means specifiers and installers now have the freedom to stock, order or fit standard product offerings, without worrying about inaccurate measurements or compromising on the versatility they have come to expect from Eurocare.”

Eurocare’s new compensator will be available to order from 1st April.
A patent for the compensator has been filed and is pending.
